A Note from Founder

When we started Nivvesh, it wasn't because the world needed yet another fintech app.

It was because millions of Indians still don't feel seen by the existing financial system.

Growing up in a middle-class household, I remember how investment decisions were made—conversations around gold on Akshaya Tritiya, fixed deposits as a rite of passage for savings, recurring deposits to prepare for life's predictable and unpredictable needs. These weren't just financial instruments; they were part of our family traditions, trust systems, and long-term dreams.

But as digital finance evolved, something ironic happened: the tools meant to "democratize finance" started catering only to the top 1%.

What about the everyday Indian—the schoolteacher in Nashik, the gig worker in Jaipur, the homemaker in Indore—who still trusts traditional instruments over volatile stocks or crypto? Why isn't there a platform that's as innovative and user-friendly as a modern trading app, but built around the products they already understand and trust?

That question became the seed for Nivvesh.

Bridging the Trust-Tech Divide

Today, more than 50% of Indian household financial assets are still held in gold, fixed deposits, or recurring deposits (RBI data, 2023). Yet, if you look at the fintech landscape, it's overwhelmingly geared towards equities, crypto, or mutual funds. There's nothing wrong with those assets, but they aren't where the majority of India puts its money.

We saw a gap—and an opportunity—to create a platform that respects traditional financial wisdom while offering the convenience and intelligence of modern technology.

Nivvesh is an aggregator investment platform focused on traditional instruments: Gold, FDs, and RDs. We're building for the 500 million Indians who want safer, simpler ways to grow their wealth without learning the language of Wall Street.

Our goal is simple: make trusted investments beautifully accessible.

Why Now?

India is undergoing a silent revolution in digital payments, but financial planning is still broken. Despite UPI's success, only 27% of Indians invest in any formal product (SEBI, 2022). That number gets even smaller outside metros.

Meanwhile, banks and NBFCs offer a fragmented experience, often requiring in-person visits, redundant paperwork, and lack of transparency in returns or lock-in terms.

We believe Nivvesh can change this.

By integrating with regulated financial institutions, we offer users access to multiple FD/RD options with just a few taps. We're also digitizing gold savings—turning what was once stored in lockers into smart, flexible investment plans.

And soon, we'll bring in AI-powered financial planning, designed not for billionaires, but for people planning their kids' tuition, a wedding, or their first home.

Built with Empathy, Backed by Insight

This isn't just about fintech innovation. It's about financial inclusion—real inclusion.

We're designing Nivvesh to be mobile-first, regional-language friendly, and 100% transparent. No hidden fees. No jargon. Just simple tools that help everyday people take control of their money, on their terms.

As a founder, I've spoken to hundreds of users, across cities and towns. I've seen the quiet dignity with which people manage their money. Nivvesh is our attempt to honor that.

Where We're Going

In the next five years, we see Nivvesh becoming the go-to destination for India's trust-first investors. A place where anyone—from a 22-year-old earning their first salary to a 60-year-old planning retirement—can build a strong, stable foundation for their financial future.

But we're not doing this alone.

We're collaborating with banks, NBFCs, gold providers, and regulators. We're building a product that meets India where it is today, and takes it where it needs to go tomorrow.

This is just the beginning.

Let's Build Together

Because at Nivvesh, we're not just building a platform. We're building a movement—towards dignity, simplicity, and real wealth for all.

Warmly,

Parth Verma
